The Joey Hose Cover is an excellent way to avoid "rainout" in CPAP tubing. Rainout occurs when the air moving from the humidifier to the mask begins to cool and produces condensation inside the hose, which is common when a heated humidifier is utilized. Rainout is not a nice experience; no one wants their face pelted with water in the middle of the night. The Joey Hose Cover insulates the hose and reduces this unpleasant sensation.
Joey's soft cover feels so much better on the skin than the CPAP hose's rough surface, and toggles at either end make it a "cinch" to tighten. It also looks fantastic! There will be no more ugly hose.
